We have 6 Screened in shelters and 10 camping sites with covered tables. We also have almost unlimited primitive camping space all with in a stones throw of the lake. The point as it is know is also the best shoreline fishing spot on the the lake. We also have a lighted fishing pier and and a fish cleaning station
Our Screen shelters are well shaded with plenty of room for tents. The Bath house is always kept cleaned and well stocked

A 57
square mile lake with over 200 miles of shoreline that has approximately 35,000
surface acres. The lake borders on Hunt, Rains and Via
n Zandt counties. It also
supplies water for several surrounding towns including the city of Dallas. The
Sabine River Authority of Texas manages, controls and operates the reservoir.
Lake Tawakoni is well stocked with large mouth bass, sand bass, crappie, catfish
and other varieties of fish. Bass tournaments are held annually February though
September. So come fish to your heart's content - day or night at Anchor Inn
